Iacoviello makes her role and company debut with the Boston Opera Collaborative in La voix humaine

Poulenc's La voix humaine is a one-woman opera with a libretto by French playwright Jean Cocteau. The protagonist, 'Elle,' engages in a phone conversation with her ex-lover, but the audience only hears her side of the dialogue. As an unreliable narrator, Elle guides the audience through a web of lies, hidden motives, and raw emotions, revealing the complexities of a seemingly heartbroken lover.
